Come il bellissimo autunno cretese entra, Rethymno celebra la forza unificante della musica e della creatività femminile!Mercoledì 30 settembre, il maestoso Teatro Erofili all'interno della Fortezza Veneziana ospiterà "I Maestrina di Rethymno". Questo evento speciale riunisce tre dei cori più importanti della città per unprestazioni collaborative che dimostrano che la musica unisce persone e culture.Sotto la direzione appassionata di tre conduttori femminili di talento — Eleni Perpiraki, Isidora Chalkiadaki, e Mariella Vitorou — i cantanti condivideranno il palco.I Cori sono Rettimo Cantus (Coir misto dell'Associazione delle Belle Arti), Il Coro Comunale di Rethymno e Coro UOC (Coir misto dell'Università di Creta) Accompagnato da una bella strumentazione live (piano,fisarmonica e violino), i cori eseguiranno un viaggio ricco ed elevante attraverso amati canti d'arte tradizionali e moderni sia da repertorio greco che internazionale.Il pubblico è fortemente incoraggiato ad unirsi e cantare insieme!Che tu sia un residente locale o un visitatore che esplora la città, questa è un'opportunità perfetta per trascorrere una serata magica e atmosferica nel centro storico, vivendo il caldo spirito comunitario di Rethymno.L'evento fa parte del "Crete Festival" e dell'ingresso gratuito

The Maestrinas of Rethymno" Autumn Choral Concert
As the beautiful Cretan autumn sets in, Rethymno celebrates the unifying power of music and female creativity! On Wednesday, September 30th, the majestic Erofili Theatre inside the Venetian Fortezza will host "The Maestrinas of Rethymno." This special event brings together three of the city’s most prominent choirs for a collaborative performance that proves music truly unites people and cultures. Under the passionate direction of three talented female conductors—Eleni Perpiraki, Isidora Chalkiadaki, and Mariella Vitorou—dozens of singers will share the stage. The Choirs is Rettimo Cantus (Mixed Choir of the Fine Arts Association), The Municipal Choir of Rethymno and UOC Chorus (Mixed Choir of the University of Crete) Accompanied by beautiful live instrumentation (piano, accordion, and violin), the choirs will perform a rich and uplifting journey through beloved folk, traditional, and modern art songs from both Greek and international repertoires. The audience is highly encouraged to join in and sing along! Whether you are a local resident or a visitor exploring the city, this is a perfect opportunity to spend a magical, atmospheric evening in the Old Town while experiencing the warm community spirit of Rethymno.
