Som den vakre Cretan høsten setter i, feirer Rethymno den forenende kraften i musikk og kvinnelig kreativitet!Onsdag den 30. september vil det majestetiske Erofili-teatret inne i den venetianske Fortezza være vert " maestrinas of Rethymno." Dette spesielle arrangementet samler tre av byens mest fremtredende kor for etsamarbeidsytelse som beviser at musikk virkelig forener mennesker og kulturer.Under den lidenskapelige retningen til tre talentfulle kvinnelige ledere— Eleni Perpiraki, Isidora Chalkiadaki og Mariella Vitorou— vil sangere dele scenen.Koret er Retimo Cantus (Mixed Choir of the Fine Arts Association), det kommunale koret Rethymno og UOC Chorus (Mixed Choir ved University of Kreta) Samarbeidet av vakker levende instrumentering (piano,trekkspill, og fiolin), vil korene utføre en rik og oppløftende reise gjennom elskede folk, tradisjonelle og moderne kunstsanger fra både greske og internasjonale repertoarer.Publikum oppfordres til å bli med og synge sammen!Enten du er lokalbefolkning eller besøkende som utforsker byen, er dette en perfekt mulighet til å tilbringe en magisk, atmosfærisk kveld i gamlebyen mens du opplever den varme samfunnsånden i Rethymno.Eventen er en del av "Crete Festival" og inngangsfri

The Maestrinas of Rethymno" Autumn Choral Concert
As the beautiful Cretan autumn sets in, Rethymno celebrates the unifying power of music and female creativity! On Wednesday, September 30th, the majestic Erofili Theatre inside the Venetian Fortezza will host "The Maestrinas of Rethymno." This special event brings together three of the city’s most prominent choirs for a collaborative performance that proves music truly unites people and cultures. Under the passionate direction of three talented female conductors—Eleni Perpiraki, Isidora Chalkiadaki, and Mariella Vitorou—dozens of singers will share the stage. The Choirs is Rettimo Cantus (Mixed Choir of the Fine Arts Association), The Municipal Choir of Rethymno and UOC Chorus (Mixed Choir of the University of Crete) Accompanied by beautiful live instrumentation (piano, accordion, and violin), the choirs will perform a rich and uplifting journey through beloved folk, traditional, and modern art songs from both Greek and international repertoires. The audience is highly encouraged to join in and sing along! Whether you are a local resident or a visitor exploring the city, this is a perfect opportunity to spend a magical, atmospheric evening in the Old Town while experiencing the warm community spirit of Rethymno.
